Trauma Dissociation

As we live our lives, we have different types of encounters and experiences, some of which can be traumatic for us. They may make us feel scared, helpless, violated, angry and more such undesirable feelings. Later, when we recall these traumatic memories, we relive the emotional parts of the experience all over again. This is quite avoidable, from multiple points of view. If you find yourself unable to resolve the trauma by yourself, consider signing up for trauma dissociation.

Our memories are linked to the corresponding emotions at the time. It is usually a very bad idea to consider the removal of memories and we do not recommend this line of thought. We instead suggest severing the link between the memory and associated emotions, to allow you to recollect things normally, without feeling the associated emotional trauma.

The process is simple, and uses a single session split into three, 20 minute mini-sessions, during which you do not have to share details of the trauma or memory in question. You simply have to follow your therapist’s instructions.
