Creating Logs

The Types Of Records You Can Log

  • Daily fasting hours; if you’ve fasted more or less than the recommended number of hours for that day of the week. If you’ve fasted less than 12 hours, please log zero. If you’ve fasted the exact number of hours, you do not need to do anything.
  • Physical activities; like walking, cooking, computer work, etc. Please log in the duration of time you did so as well.
  • Food; log all the ingredients or dishes you eat.
  • Blood pressure and blood sugar; only if you’re monitoring these parameters, usually once a week.
  • Weight; once a week, preferably measured on the same day and same time, wearing similar clothing.

Using the Log Feature

Creating logs is easy, and should take you less than a minute.

To get started: Program Menu > Create Log

For fasts:

  1. Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’.
  2. Choose the number of hours.
    Choose between 12 to 24 hours. You also have an option for 0 hours.
  3. Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.

For weight:

  1. Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’.
  2. Enter your weight.
    Enter the number displayed on your weighing scale, in kilograms.
  3. Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.

For food:

  1. Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’.
  2. Enter your text.
    The maximum number of characters you can log is 500, the minimum being 10.
  3. Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.

For exercise:

  • Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’
  • Choose an activity.
    Please browse through the range of activities available.
  • Enter the number of minutes.
    In case you did an activity for more than one hour (60 minutes), convert it into minutes.
  • Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.

For blood pressure:

  • Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’.
  • Enter your systolic reading.
    Enter the number on your systolic reading.
  • Enter your diastolic reading.
    Enter the number on your diastolic reading.
  • Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.

For blood sugar:

  • Select the date.
    Choose ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’, or ‘Day before Yesterday’.
  • Enter your blood sugar reading.
    Enter the number on your blood sugar reading.
  • Select the type of reading.
    Choose from ‘Random’, ‘Fasting’, or ‘Post Prandial’.
  • Confirm your log entry.
    To save your log, choose ‘Yes’. Otherwise, choose ‘No’.
